  • What to do with 2.5 million Krisflyer miles?

I have accumulated just over 2.5 million Krisflyer Miles. Is it possible to donate the miles to charity so that can benefit a charity? Life is more about giving that carrying on about travelling in first class.

    Good on you!

You could also consider something like this to benefit ill kids etc:

You may wish to consider donating them to me please no lol

I think what Jhm suggested would be the most altruistic, especially if you don't have any travel plans.

Just curious....how many years it took you accumulate this level of mileage?

The interesting thing is that KF miles do expire after 2 years. Guess the accummulation was done via other means or a hell of a lot of flying in 2 years!
God must have been a ship owner, he placed the raw materials far from where they are needed and covered two-thirds of the earth with water...

            and you yourself said:

56,000 miles since 1 June 2009, arround 90% in Y and 10% in J. Probably do around 100,000 for year.

Last I looked it's 3 years (+ applicable status extensions).

I'm guessing a certain SQ affiliated credit card with a particularly good earn ratio when it was first introduced.
Evidently, actual BIS miles were a fraction of that.
(Man Flyer's memory for detail is obviously not to be trifled with!)

Even at 3 years, with just 56,000 miles flown from June to January, what's he been buying, houses ?.

I don't know about KF miles but with other miles, it's easily possible to accumulate a few million in a few years with supermarket spend, churning by topping up prepay cards, paying taxes and other scheme current/in the past.

It's very much possible when it comes to credit card like Amex. Certain friend of mine has a Centurion and he uses it for corporate use (buying stock, paying company bills, etc).
