I guess they want connecting pax to use the flight that goes via BKK? It is annoying because sometimes the SQ11/12 schedule works better.

i just upgraded SQ11 LAX-SIN on 17th May. Seatmap shows J is pretty packed on both decks. Full on UD and only a handful of seats available on LD. Please switch the plane! hahah
Awards online were not available when i checked but instantly approved when i upgraded my tix.

Did couple of dummy bookings and I still see lots of availability for F & J Savers for the rest of 2009 + early 2010.

Had similar problem with you.... couldn't find any F or J seat on SQ11 for end of Sept on ANA tool , but when checked it with KF, they're available.

So maybe it's just a glitch that will be fixed when they next have systems maintenance (May 10? ) and we'll see starnet availabilty coming back
