Getting into SQ R with BD miles (or any star alliance miles for that matter)?

Can't say I've ever seen that happen, but if it did, what a nice score!

SQ F on the other hand - happens every day I think

For now, SQ R is only available with $$$. Not even KF miles will get you there.

But if you ever get R on BD miles, please report back. I'm sure many will congratulate you

I was wondering if anyone had any success on getting F/R using BD? I've managed to get one direction to SIN but coming back to LHR is difficult.
Any advice out there? Any tricks? I'd really like to try out R if poss?

            Thanks,

Yep....but note when the post was from: 2008. There were more routes with 747's and therefore O class inventory.

Ah that makes a lot of sense.

For some reason I assumed it was a recent post

                      F yes. Sometimes.

                      R - Suites, no.

I don't know a single F redemption on 77W by a partner airline. Even LH has no access to that inventory at all.

Me too, only reported instances were F redemptions on old F where aircraft got switched to new F /R.
