Priority tags

Hi guys,

I am currenty an Elite Silver member and today I flew SIN-HKG on SQ862 in Y and the lady at check in put a Business Class priority tag on my bag.

Is this normal for Silver members?

It is not an Elite Silver benefit. The check in lady must have mistaken your status as Elite Gold.

Thanks, I didn't think it was right when I picked up the bag in HKG and there were priority tags on it.

I've had it a few times as a silver member & they put the priority tags on - once even got a lounge invite!

I got priority tag 2-3 times when I flew with connected flight. I think the check-in staff wanted to make it quick for connected flight luggages. I guess. Last time they put first eventhough I flew economy....

Unless they predicted I will be turning Elite Gold as I did this morning when I completed HKG-SIN-MEL.

Congrats for achieving Elite Gold. At least you have priority baggage handling, higher chances of upgrade from Y to C, Lounge access and higher priority in standby etc.
