Partial upgrades

Hi

If my dad buys a return ticket in Economy Flexi from Glasgow to Brisbane online, can I upgrade part of the journey to Business, e.g., the London-Singapore-Brisbane leg? That is, to leave Glasgow-London in Economy but the rest of that journey upgraded to Business? Similar to the above, can I upgrade just the Singapore-London leg to Business on his return, i.e. to leave both Brisbane-Singapore and London-Glasgow in Economy?

Yes you can, but if you are trying to get saver upgrades on the LHR to SIN or SIN to LHR part, it can be hard to find any.

It was previously assumed so but recently, we have heard otherwise.

You may like to call Krisflyer to check availability first before going online to buy your ticket and book the upgrade to obtain your 15% discount.

Bear in mind that the 15% discount will not be available for tickets bought through a travel agent.

Officially, no. Unofficially, it takes a bit of talking sometimes.

They like keeping the option of being able to reject whatever they deem fit/more convenient to pax.
