The interview with Scoot CEO Leslie Thng, published in today's Straits Times, was quite an interesting read.

Glad to know there is going to be expansion to new destinations. Although Mr Thng did not mention the actual destinations, Some of these are likely to be regional destinations, served by the new Embraer E-190 fleet. These new Embraers are really opening up new vacation destinations for us here.
It was also a little shocking to learn that so many of the A320neos were grounded due to technical issues.
As for on-time performance, I have to agree with the article that Scoot has a problem with flight delays and on-time performance. I don't have full stats, but many of my own flights in the past year (mainly 787 flights to/from Australia) were delayed by an hour or 2, and just last week, my daughter's MEL-SIN Scoot flight was delayed by over an hour.
