I'd say the same about the TG F ladies, not girls. I think SQ will be targeting the younger demographic... and most TG girls are not up front...

In economy the TG girls are keen and helpful. When they grow older, they seem to more indifferent and lose that eager to serve.

For the real Singapore Girl, they are soo yod from GS to LS to IFS.

This reminds me - the last time I saw Thai girls in SQ kebayas, I was at Bus Stop bar in Soi Nana

Less than 50 girls will be employed for this first batch. They will all go through a very stringent SQ's selection process. So, I am sure whoever are being selected will have that "standard" high quality SQ personality and spirit.

But seriously, whilst we all like to have hot young things with big smiles all the time serving us on flights... for those that choose to go into the industry they should have the right to make it a lifetime career. It's unfair to be booted out because you are too old.

I certainly agree with UMD here. If SQ is touchy enough about their cabin crew using Facebook to complain about rosters, scheduling, etc.. then I'm certain that they would confront the Thai girls with the usual stringent SQ Girl interviewing and training process. All this time I've flown SQ, I've experienced a consistency at which service is dispensed.. very professional and warming hospitality.
