Where do we go from here?

With the delivery of 9V-SWK next month, SIN-TPE-LAX will get the 777-300ER 3x weekly from 1 July. Presumably, 9V-SWL will allow SIN-TPE-LAX to go daily with the 777-300ER.

The only route mentioned in this thread to start 777-300ER after that is SIN-MEL SQ217/218 at the end of October. Does that start with daily service or 3x weekly service? Certainly 9V-SWM and possibly 9V-SWN must be in service by then.

Any other future destinations? Anyone know the delivery schedule for future aircraft?

SQ217/8 becomes a daily 77W straight away from October 28th.

I'd also expect SQ237/8 (the morning MEL turnaround) to become a 77W at some point in the not-too-distant future.

That means the 13th 777-300ER, 9V-SWN, should be delivered in October. Any more this year after 9V-SWN?

13 aircraft? I was under the impression that 12 aircraft (including the 1 maintenance spare) are needed to do all the above routes. 77W utilization should roughly break down as follows:

SIN-ZRH and SIN-FRA each daily (combined may only require 3 aircraft due to scheduling with their SIN respective arrival and departure times)

SIN-CDG and SIN-HKG each daily (combined requires 2 aircraft)

          SIN-MXP-BCN 3pw (requires 1 aircraft)

          SIN-ICN-SFO daily (requires 2 aircraft)

          SIN-TPE-LAX daily (requires 2 aircraft)

          SIN-MEL daily (requires 1 aircraft)

Utilizations that high don't work in practice. Note that there are now 9 777-300ERs in the fleet.
