noise cancelling headphone

Hello,

May I get feedbacks on the noise cancelling headphones SIA provides to first and business class passengers?

What percentage of external sound, especially the plane's engine does the noise cancelling headphone block out?

The Bose QuietComforter 3 noise cancelling headphone has received very high reviews but the price is a problem.

Also, may I know which row of sit is quieter? I suffer from tinnitus and am worried that travelling would worsen it.

1. SQ headsets work very well to cancel out the noise. They wrap around the ears.

But I can't keep them on the whole time cos my ears get too warm. So I use Seinheisers.

2. The further in front in the cabin you sit, the quieter it is.

( and smoother too I just found out - always thought sitting over the wings were smoothest )
