what was the flight number and date? Not to sound defensive about SQ, but after more than 2 million miles with them over 10 years, I have yet to encounter such an serious breach of hyigene.

            1. Worms often hide inside vegetables and the like. Often they are not visible when cleaning.

            2. The presence of worms indicates that lower levels of pesticides were used, which is good

            3. Inevitably some will end up in your food, whether home-cooked, restaurant or airline.

            4. All of us have eaten many worms without realising it because the worms were still IN THE food and unseen to us.

Does not bother me ONE bit.

A fully cooked worm is safe for consumption.

                  Let's call a cat a cat

Sorry, no offense but a worm is still a worm. Not everyone relish the idea of being presented a worm for a meal.

let's get back to the facts. Which flight and when? What did SIA say about this lapse in service?
there's nothing more rewarding than flying for free, is there??

I have checked with the person who uploaded that video in Youtube, it is indeed SQ503 from Bangalore to Singapore on 29 Oct.

SQ is fully at the mercy of the caterers at Bangalore. SQ do not have their own kitchen. And they can only do so much auditing etc. No airline is every going to QC every single meal for every single flight in every single kitchen.
