Might be special charter or test flight?

Most likely to be charter flights for Singapore Armed Forces troops.

hmmmm...dont think its for the SAF as its usually SQ own bigger metal and have not seen SAF chartering such a small airbus A320 aircraft for troop movements.

4 digit flights, with the exception of freighter flights, are chartered flights. SAF occasionally uses CI's B738s to fly its troops to Taiwan.

I know that Silkair aircraft have been used before for SAF charters to DMK. In fact 2 planes were used as not everyone could fit into one. Probably no SQ 777s available then. But it was late at night. And would such a charter flight even show up on the GDS schedule listing? Or does GDS display all operating flights?

Back in my NS days, the flights used to run from SIN direct to a certain Thai airforce base, but coming back, the flights would stop in BKK/DMK. Think this was due to runway limitations at the airbase, which prevented the TG 737s from carrying a full load of fuel for SIN.
