its sad to see so many planes esp the 777s sitting on the ground at the remote stands - as many as 6 to 8 spread out over the remote bays of T2 and T1 incl one A345 which is on ground for most of the day.
And SQ will make some drastic announcements in early April on the fate of its staff - even tech crew are not spared and includes furlonging with no pay leave for 12 to 18 mths and there will be some retrechments. For the tech/cabin crew it will mean more standby days (basically wont even be called up) and extra off days in sin in between flights.
