SIN-IST possible a/c upgrade?

I was just wondering if there is the possibility that the 777-300 will be upgraded to say a 77W or if it will be refurbished with new F and regional J?
I ask this because of the competition which I am sure will have arised, with TK flying SIN-IST direct with the 77W fitted with F suites and fully-flat beds in J. Also now that EK has refurbished many of their planes, they offer new products SIN-DXB which is again more competition for SQ on this route?

SQ490/491 is very likely to be served by the refurbished 773. The 77Ws will be used to replace the 744s due to be phased out in the next 12 months.

There is no reason for SQ to put a 777-300ER on the SIN-DXB-IST route. I hope SQ would decide to serve SIN-IST nonstop with a daily A330-300. However, I think we'll have to wait for the economy to pick up.
