  • System recognizing as *G

    Hi SQTalkers

I'm actually *S, just 6000 miles short to achieve *G by OZ old rule. I made a booking through a TA for BNE-ICN via SIN, and when I checked my itinery on viewtrip.com, it says, "12345678 G", under FFP section. Previous flight in early october had "12345678 S". I called SQ reservation and they said I'm *G.

How is this possible if I haven't reached *G yet? If the system is recognizing me as a *G, can I check-in extra 20kg of luggage without actually showing my OZ card??

Thanks in advance for your response. Enjoy your day.

Assuming that the system hasn't recognised this apparent glitch by the time you check-in , then the answer to your question would be yes, you should get the *G benefits without showing your card. Now is that 20kg extra weight allowance - I'm not sure?

I'm guessing its a system glitch. I've had the reverse situation where at check-in my BD*G came printed as *S.
