SQ changes terminal (ICN) effective from 10th of June

It is confirmed that SQ will change the terminal from the main terminal to the concourse A from 10th of June.

SKL in the main terminal will be closed and people will be directed to OZ lounge in the concourse A.

Oouch to some people who are going to ICN in a couple of months time

I will try to post some pictures of the new concourse A once I arrive in ICN on 21st of June. Actually my friend who works for CX in ICN told me that concourse A is much better than the main terminal....hmm......

That includes me, although I'm inbound from SFO on SQ and outbound on OZ.

Shame about the SKL closing, that was the best one imho. I wonder if they'll open another one or use the opportunity to get rid of an outstation SKL now, a la BKK and PVG.

I don't think it's SQ decision to move to Terminal A and closing the SKL. Thus I disagree with your comment about cost cutting.
The move to a different terminal was a decision by ICN right? Thus by keeping open SKL would not be wise due to different terminal location.

While it is not SQ's decision to move (I believe SQ and indeed *A have been against the move), if they open another SKL at Terminal A I will agree with you. If not, they've got away with taking another SKL off the books, like they did with moves at BKK and PVG.

The fact that this is the conclusion some of us immediately jump to tells it's own story of how they are viewed these days, which is rather sad.
