    SPEAKING about SIA's website

Has anyone notice the Virgin Atlanitc symbol on the front page? Why is it there? I thought SIA sold thier stake in VS along time ago?

SQ still retains its 49% share of VS.

I maybe wrong but I don't believe I have ever seen the Virgin's logo until recently. Anyone knows what the significance of this is?

Could be some kind of reciprocal thing. SIA is on Virgin Atlantic's website as well.

In any case, they should align the VS logo a bit better. It looks out of alignment with the Star Alliance logo.

        Personally, I find it inappropriate.

But I don't mind SIA's logo on Virgin's though, i think it's kinda neat actually. Also, it does say: "visit our partners"

I believe it's new. Just checked SQ's website about a week ago and it wasn't there.

Is it possible that SQ will finally accept PPS Values from Virgin Atlantic's flights (codeshare or non- codeshare)? SQ owns 49% of the airline anyway.

I am still anxious to see if it has any more significance than just a reciprocal act.

Or perhaps for each S$ spent on a VS flight, SQ will give S$0.49 PPS value?

"We are open to all reasonable offers but as they say in the classifieds ads, no time wasters please. In other words, if somebody makes us a reasonable offer, we'll be very happy to look at it. But we're not desperate," said SIA's CEO Chew Choon Seng.

We can moan about certain things they do to annoy us at times, but I do like Mr Chew. He's a character.

And I recall the airline adopting a similar "we are not desperate" stance pertaining to the CEA stake purchase. Clearly, the CEO is playing along with the airline's reputation in the industry in such deals!

He could also be directing that to Branson should he ever wish to put in a bid for SIA's stake. Don't waste your time Branson... yer waste of space.
