Yes, If i am not wrong. You can call them up, provide them with a booking reference number.. and tell them which seats you want .

Although i've found it depends on the willingness of the call centre agent - sometimes they say it can't be done, but the friendlier ones offer to do it for you.

Are we talking about Y class? So far, I haven't found any phone agents who were willing to do an assignment in Y for me yet... I usually end up having to rely on internet check-in to get a decent seat assignment!

For economy class, you can only make generic request like "window", "aisle", or "emergency exit" but not for the specific seat number.

Unless, of course, if you book your ticket through SQ website where you can select your seat online.
