I also forgot about another 'celebrity' I bumped into last night...
They called SQ119 in the SKL so I left AW and the team and headed to C2. As I was walking towards the gate I saw this guy walking towards me looking around at everything. I thought this a little strange as there is nothing down that end where they could have been. As he got closer I thought he looked familiar, then I clocked, it was Willie Walsh BA's CEO!!.
I said 'Alright Willie, what you doing here?'. He looked up and realised he had no idea who the hell I was and said 'Oh, hello, I've been here for the IATA conference' I said 'I know that FFS, I meant down this part of the airport'. He smiled and said 'Oh, I've just been walking around having a look at the place', which he did seem quite interested in.
Nice fella to be fair, very approachable. I thought he may be on SQ119 to get the BA flight from SIN but he said he was flying direct to LHR on MH.

From HKG - BKK last week, at HKG check-in desks, there was a mini-entourage at the Royal First lane.
It turns out that one of Thailand's (previous?) 5th Deputy Minister was travelling with family back to BKK and they were checking in something like four large foam cartons with plenty of fragile stickers all over. There were two escorts trying to facilitate everything from the Peninsula Hotel also.
The fellow took fricking ages (20-25 mins) checking in as one of the foam cartons' lids had caved in, and even the Y lane would have been faster.
Turns out the Minister (think his name was P. Pradeet/Pradit? *sp*) was travelling in 1A next to me and the rest of the family in the J cabin. He seemed rather bored and only ordered/picked at the cheese platter.
Buggies galore when we arrived! Their VIP-tagged luggage came out the other end followed by the rest of Royal First also.

There have been a few occasions when I was engaged in verbal exchanges with people and someone would pop along to ask the 'celebrity' for an autograph, or someone would later tell me, do you know who that was?!!!
To be honest, I don't even know who these people are and I don't really care who they are either.

The only one I've seen on a SQ flight was Stephen Smith, the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, on SQ 225 to PER, coming back from Japan, and even him and his entourage had to wait to access the gate as the priority lane wasn't enforced ... however that was 2 years ago.
Otherwise, I've seen some politicians on domestic flights here in Australia, most recently Tony Abbot in the QP in TSV.

Just remembered I haven't posted this:
We saw Gwen Stefani & some of the Black Eyed Peas personnels at SKL T3 in September during the F1 period. IIRC they were waiting to board the non stop flight back to LAX.
Gwen was carrying her brand new baby boy.
