Headsets to be only distributed after take-off

and can preset Economy class on SGN and 77W flights only.

Just a slight correction on this. They initially allowed preset of YCL headsets on 77W's due to crew numbers. But this has now been changed and just SGN flights are allowed due to flight time and not 77W flights as notified last week.

In all my three segments SQ flights recently, the headset was given after taking off.

According to my sis who flew Sin-Kix on SQ 618, Kix-Bkk on SQ 625 and Bkk-Sin on SQ973 just last wk, headsets were given out before takeoff on SQ973. But that flight was full to the brim.

For my recent SQ flights, headsets were only given abt 10 mins after the seat belt signs r off. And it was announced thru the PA system to tell passengers to wait for their headsets till after takeoff.
