Long term plan for the Chinese market

Hi guys, I'm from Shanghai, and as a big fan of SQ, I'm quite concerned about the development of SQ in the Chinese market. After a continous increase of frequency to PVG, PEK and CAN, has SQ proposed any long term plan to expand the market? Is it possible for SQ to launch a PVG-US service if the Chinese government releases 5th freedom rights to foreign carriers?
Any news or updates do you guys have regarding this?

If the SIA-CEA deal gets all sewn up, it will be quite early to tell what is going to happen then. It's past deals with airlines hasent really seen itself growing much into those markets, it seems.
