I'm curious. Does the 772ER get assigned to SIN-PEK? I called SQ to get a seat assignment in J. Was told it was 2-class 772, and row 11 was the first window row. That's the 772ER layout.

Nope, only the regional 3-class B772 is assigned to all SIN-PEK flights. Row 11 is always the first row of J regardless of 2-class or 3-class layout.

Yes. But row 12 is the first window row on the regional 2-class 772, which is what I was referring to.

I've always thought that PEK gets 3-class 772s.
But milehighj is right, a 2-class regional 772's 1st window row is 12. Maybe you're getting a SV-series that day

Nope, only the regional 3-class B772 is assigned to all SIN-PEK flights. Row 11 is always the first row of J regardless of 2-class or 3-class layout.

To add to that, 9V-SPR/SPS aside, Row 11 is always the first row of J on any SQ plane (or as alluded to above 11D/F on the SR series), as is Row 1 in F, and 31 in Y.

Maybe the SQ agent made a mistake in saying it's a 2-class... Anyway, nice wide open seating for now.
