SQ are obviously expecting to get at least one and probably both of them in March in time to upgauge NRT-LAX. It all depends on when the Koito seats will be certified.

9V-SKO (#15 of 19)
Here is a photo of 9V-SKO from two days ago.
http://www.seattlepi.com/business/ga...date=1/13/2011
There is no sign yet of 9V-SKP, 9V-SKQ, 9V-SKR, or 9V-SKS, so no chance for the last four WhaleJets SQ have on order to be delivered in 2011. 9V-SKL, 9V-SKM, 9V-SKN, and 9V-SKO should all be delivered in 2011 and 9V-SKP, 9V-SKQ, 9V-SKR, and 9V-SKS probably all will be delivered in 2012, hopefully in the first half of 2012.

It occurred to me while on my most recent A380 flight that going for an all-J upper deck is going to cause a minor coq-up (sic) with SQ's (admirably uniform) seat numbering system.
JCL will now extend well past Row 31. So (presumably) lower deck EYCL seating, which is (presumably) largely unchanged from SKA-SKK would need to have different numbering, e.g. starting with Row 41...
or, numbering for the rear JCL cabin jumps to Row 71...
or, least likely, SQ re-numbers EYCL on all A380s to start with Row 41.
