  • SQ to showcase A380 products at T4 at LHR

Mid November until 24 December apparently, after WTM.

Something picked up from VS maybe, who I believe did the same with their UCS.

Oooh. An excuse to visit T4!

It's not like SQ to take a leaf out of VS' book, especially this which could be seen as a stunt.

Could be the work of TBWA?

Both BA and QF depart from T4 who are SQ's two biggest rivals on the LHR-SIN route.

Oooh, I'll have to make sure my business trips are on BA so I can join the ogling masses.

Just to update this. Unfortunately there will be no A380 Suite on display at T4, just the new JCL flat seat, and that will be airside only.

However, they will have an A380 Suite along with new JCL on display at World Travel Market (WTM) at Excel in London next week.

If anyone is going, try and go on Tuesday before 2pm and let me know.

Thanks for the update but what is the logic of that decision?

My guess: it's the business class passengers who drive profitability on the Kangaroo Route, and it's a much more targeted promotion if the placement is airside (as opposed to one that would reach a more general public landside).

Besides, from what I've seen, there's much less space for promotional space landside than airside, don't you think? Even then, the space is pretty scarce, so if I had to feature just one, I'd choose the JCL seat.
