Thanks for the pics. Well I can see now the difference... colours accross the top portion of BPs. Would there be Solitaire BPs as well?

I can't believe how short-lived the current boarding passes are.

Looks like the old old style boarding passes where we passengers keep the left side - not the smaller right side.

How are the details printed on them? Have you seen a printed one?

Aha...the BPs do look slightly different.
The previous blue BP I receive has the "Business Class" on the left hand side (usually retained at Changi). The one that passenger retains remains the same.

The right portion now seems to be bigger than average boarding passes. I wonder if they can use this in overseas stations where the gate machines are usually set to cut the BP at the average size.

Why would there be a need for such a big right portion? Are they planning to put even more information than the current format?

I did think that the reason might be to accommodate bigger fonts etc.
FWIW, I think the new BPs don't look bad at all.
Just posted my comments since I find the new size interesting, that's all.
