It looks like the first SQ-operated 737-800 flight might be the BWN rotation in November - SQ148/147. The seatmap shows the same SilkAir config (with re-numbered rows) as expected but interestingly, the number of J seats on sale is capped at 8.

SIA has already stated that not all the Silkair planes will be painted in SQ colors by mext year and so far only 2 planes are in SQ colors.
Airlines may have different interiors but have some common identity but for SIA, its a complete different identity from its corporate colors and configuration of its wide body aircrafts to Silkair single aisle which is even without PTV and tight seatings.

Either way both these issues are just cosmetic and don't really matter on the grand scheme of things.

It's a common practice that airlines do livery rebranding before reconfiguring the cabins. As long as they keep these planes off from CGK/HKG it'll definitely be fine.
