  • What is the update on 9V-SCP and 9V-SCQ? I mean the recent 787's we had were out of sequence deliveries. Not much movement according to FR24.

    • 9V-SCP departs from CHS on its delivery flight later today as SQ8878.

Routing CHS-NGO-SIN. ETA SIN Sun 21:00 LT.

Wow...very nice! SQ seems to get many of these "milestone" production aircraft, eg the 1000th 747 and the 10,000th Airbus.

        • 9V-SCW departs from CHS on its delivery flight tomorrow as SQ8878.

Routing CHS-NGO-SIN. ETA SIN Fri 22 Dec 21:00 LT.

This will be the airline's 22nd Boeing 787-10.

After SCW only one more aircraft (9V-SCQ) will be delivered to SIA this financial year, with the final 8 Boeing 787-10s in its order arriving in subsequent years (probably in FY24/25 and FY25/26).

            • 9V-SCZ also appears on FR24. With the SC* birds finishing for the 787 Dreamliner, what’s the next alphabet going to be in the 787 Series All Dreamliner? Any idea

              • It will be 9V-SD* series.

                • 9V-SCQ looks to have done a couple of air tests from PAE itself with the last one on 7/16.

9V-SCZ looks to have done an airtest at CHS.

My guess is it looks like those could be ready for delivery anytime soon.

Thanks banx007 for confirming that after the SCx series is over it will be the 9V-SD* series

                  • 9V-SCZ is planned to depart from CHS on its delivery flight tomorrow as SQ8879.

Routing CHS-NGO-SIN. ETA SIN Thu 29 Aug 19:00 LT.

This will be the airline's 24th Boeing 787-10.

9V-SCQ was flown to PDX for repainting in June/July (prolonged desert storage took the shine off!). The aircraft has since been having some rework to comply with Airworthiness Directives issued since it was first built, but it should be delivered next, before the -SDx series begins.

                    • It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the SQ 787-10 fleet as 9V-SDA (line #1200) had its first flight today as BOE26.

                          • SCQ returned previously to CHS. I wonder if its awaiting for its delivery flight soon.

                            How many more after SDA?

Fun fact: SD* series was a DC10 from the 70’s.

                            • SCQ + SDA imminent then 5 more after that for a total fleet of 31 787-10s.

If I’m counting 5 more correctly after that it should be SDF and then its 787-10 tranche is completed.

SCQ did some air tests in CHS even on 20 Sep.
