Effective 27 July, SQ618/619 (KIX v v) reverts to 78X. None of the other 78X rotations appear to change: seems to be a net addition.
Source: GDS
They have 2 extra planes now (SCI n SCL). Guess they are using this period (until end July) for periodic checks (some planes were missing for few days such as SCC SCG etc ) now it seem like SCA turn to go for check.
SCD & SCI were grounded. SCI has returned to active duty. SCD seems to be the only one still grounded.
Can someone else confirm?
Correct -- 9V-SCD is the only 78X formally grounded account Trent 1000TEN engine issues. As sbs2716g notes, however, the others are, one by one, being temporarily withdrawn for checks. 9V-SCG, for example, was out for nine days. She's back, but 9V-SCA is now down. Figure these rolling checks will likely continue.

Will HCM get back the 787-10 in July?
Well, there's a one-off 78X rotation today (Sunday, 30 June) performed by 9V-SCC on SQ178/177 to SGN, but if the GDS has it right, that's it for SIN -- SGN until 1 September, when the SQ186/185 rotation reverts to a 78X. Meantime, all A333s...

Yes there should be one 787 grounded at any one time and hope SQ can keep it this way for most of the time but on some occassions will be 2 grounded for checks and turbine blade replacements. Believed this will go on for at east abither 2 years before RR is able to solve and remedied the situation.
SQ620|01JUL will be operated by 9V-SCF instead of the originally scheduled Airbus A330.
There continue to be these occasional one-off swaps: on Sunday morning (the morning 9V-SCC performed SQ178/177 to SGN v v), SQ970/973 to BKK v v was performed by 9V-SSF. Might just be IC tinkering with Y inventory?
Latest 787 Production List showing the following SQ frames:
Line # Registration
882 9V-SCM
896 9V-SCN
938 9V-SCO
1000 9V-SCP
9V-SCL = Line # 856. The most recent deliveries (to others): Line #s 860, 862, 865, and 869. Total deliveries (Charleston + Everett) = about 14 per month.
So I like the 787-10 in J, but I had my first Y flight in them HKG-SIN yesterday, and the seats were really uncomfortable. Narrow and tight pitch.
Sure its got all the tech bells and whistles, but I'd hate to be on this plane in Y on more than a short BKK or DPS flight.
Yes indeed the 787 and A350 EY cabin esp the aisle walkway too are narrow and somewhat "packed" as this is mainly because SQ squeezed in a 9 across seating - there are some airlines like Japan Airlines which has only 8 across seating and hence the width is better.

Unfortunately it's not "some", but one - Japan Airlines, as the sole airline with 8-abreast seating on the 787.
