Cancelling OLCI

Did a quick search but couldn't find an answer.

Checked in for my upcoming flight online only to be told that my plans for the first return leg have changed. Since I'm checked in, ticket can't be reissued. What happens to my chosen seats if I were to cancel my check in? Do I lose them? Just being curious, I can wait to change till I've flown the first two segments.

The one time I printed boarding passes and then needed to change, I had to wait until checking in, i.e. dropping my bag at the airport. Phone inquiries were not of any use.

If you have checked in but you have NOT printed boarding passes then you are fine. You can even cancel a check-in if that's the case.

But once checked in with boarding passes printed, I don't know. If NONE of the flights you checked in for are now applicable, you could call and ask if it's possible to be reset, otherwise wait until the airport I'm afraid.

Thanks for the insight. I've not printed my boarding passes but not keen on losing my bulkhead seats.
