For those of you flying from Germany (DUS, MUC, FRA) on 19th Dec:
The trade union (verdi) for LSG has announced a walk out. As such, there may be reduced catering for airlines using them which includes SQ.
As a comparison Lufthansa has announced it will not have any catering for its European flights, with long-haul flights receiving a reduced service - see articles below (apologies in German only):
As a result, SQ26|21DEC operated by 9V-SKI will be delayed due to late arrival of aircraft.
STD: 2355
ETD: 0430|22DEC
Ouch, that will delay so many Euro connections for travellers out of FRA at such a busy time. These old A380s are causing so much grief at the moment and you can be sure every one of those flights is fully booked.

There will be a lot of angry pax on this flight. Especially as everyone just wants to get back in time for Christmas.
Not a major delay, but an impressive flock of migratory birds flying over Changi airport caused a few flights, including an SQ380 from LHR to perform go arounds due to these birds flying near the runway at around 5pm yesterday.
SQ966|28DEC (SIN-CGK) originally operated by 9V-SYL has been retimed due to technical issues. The flight will be operated by 9V-SWR instead.
