SQ853|23MAY (CAN-SIN) operated by 9V-STV had departed Guangzhou on schedule but had to return to the airport very shortly after departure.
The aircraft is still in Baiyun Airport and is now expected to arrive into SIN later tonight as SQ853D.

The number of small sub-fleets of old 777s they are currently operating isn't very efficient, combined with introducing new planes that they still have small numbers of. Stressful times for their operational staff.
