We are booked on SIA flying from Oslo to Perth, flight from Oslo is with Luthansa . What is the check in procedure for this flight scenario.
PS we are flying business class.

LH will check you in, issue boarding passes for all flight sectors and tag your bags through to PER. You'll get to use a lounge, I'm guessing it will probably be the SAS lounge.

You will probably be prevented from doing an online check-in. If you want to select different seats for the SQ sectors, 48 hours prior to the flight SQ will lift all the restrictions and you can simply manage your booking and change seats that way. I have never been permitted by the system to select seats on an LH sector.

There is an SK lounge in OSL that you are entitled to use. Gets a bit crowded at times though... Food is basic Scandinavian fare (i.e breads, cheese, cold cuts, etc.). In the international area, you will have to go through the duty-free shop. After that head further on and the entrance should be to your left (lift / stairs to the 2nd floor).

Thank you very much for the informative replies , i have booked good seats in the small front section of business class , so no need to change anything . Happy now i know how to check in , looking forward to our first experience in business.

Perfect, you can just walk up to the counter then.

The only negative some people might have is that all your boarding passes will be printed on LH pass stock. Some people are a bit fussy wanting a special SQ business class boarding pass!

As it's coming up to the summer holidays, stick to the "2hr prior to" rule, else 1.5hrs is more than enough at OSL. The main bottleneck is at the handheld baggage screening area...
