Yes, but it does not make sense that this company, JCB is a company in the construction machinery business. What association or links would it have with Singapore Airlines, and the search? Why would a construction company be interested in the B747 model?

    Address for JCB: http://www.jcb-singapore.sg/About/How-to-find-us.aspx

So, does OR has anyone figured out the real intent of this advertisement to have been put up? What was JCB's intent in this advertisement, and was Singapore Airlines even aware of this advertisement placement? It simply does not make sense from all angles....

The ad clearly says that JCB donated the model to SQ more than 30 years ago. It would make sense for them to place the ad, no? Or did no one actually read the ad?

I can't see why JCB would do it. Surely they would just ask SQ if there where bothered?

The one at the open house is a 744 rather than the 742.
