It would be better and consistent if SIA have PEY in all its different aircraft types. Having some aircrafts without PEY would meant some passengers are unable to take PEY all the way and have to have wither one or two legs from PEY to EY or vice cersa. Besides SIA only have less than 30 PEY seats in their aircraft that have PEY anyway and so its not ike its having so many seats that it cannot afford to not being able to sell the seats. In near future its competitors who have PEY would have in all their aircrafts too.

SQ should know pretty well, how successful they sold PEY seats on the OZ routes. The removal of PEY on certain routes is IMHO an indicator that sales are not that good.
That matches my observation on other routes. In FRA they often offer cash upgrades from Y to PEY at the CI counter. On regional routes they manage to fill PEY hardly up to 50%.

interestingly, I checked SQ direct flight to LAX in March 2019 after their current promo and it still list PEY at $1,460 which is still fairly low considering the distance and SQ charges PEY to MEL at $1,700 during off peak.
