  • SIA planes in Star Alliance Colours

I am not sure if this has been discussed before. But while was looking through in airliners, http://www.airliners.net/discussions....main/3427119/ ,the planes of star alliance members paint in star alliance colours, I wonder why only SIA plane has its tail in SIA logo while the rest were of star alliance's. Isn't there like a guideline for the paint job??

There is a guideline, but SQ put their foot down because of the value of their brand. They had enough weight within the alliance to protect the tailfin with the Golden Goose.

This doesn't mean other *A members weren't happy with SQ's resistance.

Did you mean to say instead, that didn't mean other *A members were happy?

The fact that you could understand my words shows you're still sober. Thought I would only create more confusion!
