Urgent Help: Upgrade of Booking Class

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade a booking with 6 pax in order to earn miles on other Star Alliance programme. The return flight sector is booked on Q class. Based on flightexpert availability, only Y4 is available in Economy for that sector.

Would an upgrade of fare class be possible in such scenario?

Only way is to call and ask.

To be frank, I find expert flyer is not accurate on SQ.
What is shown there may not be available in the first place.
I think their system has a very advanced permutation where it depends on city pairs and fare class pairs
But if it is showing zero, it usually is.

For example for my next week's India flights, on expert flyer, it's showing D=5 outbound and D=3 inbound. But when booking, they will give me Z for outbound, D for inbound.
