I really hope SQ doesn't end up retrofitting the B777-200's, but instead accelerate their retirement. I can't wait for the A350-900's to enter service because the B777-200's are far too old and outdated, especially their entertainment systems which seem to be from the stone age.Last edited by jaywell; 7 June 2015, 05:48 PM.

Originally posted by jaywell View PostAs well as the Business Class product. I recently took a round-trip to Perth on an B777-200 (SQ213) and back on an A330-300 (SQ224), and you can really tell the difference in the lack of programs in the IFE. Also, SQ didn't even bother upgrading the ancient controller on the B777-200 and the moving map is terrible compared to the newer one on the A330. In fact, sources tell me one of the SR* birds is already flying around with the new IFE, but with old refurbished seats.
