If your hypothesis is true, SQ will be left with only 23 A330s by end of the year. I see the B772s have already crept back into the HKG schedule.Last edited by 259850; 22 March 2016, 05:44 AM.

CHANGES
- 9V-STL has left the fleet, reducing the number of A330-300s in the fleet to 27.
- 9V-STG has returned to service after a long hiatus following its nose gear incident.
- 9V-SWF is now flying in the air, hence is not being refitted with the new cabin as of yet.
UPCOMING CHANGES
- 9V-STN will be the next to leave the fleet, according to FleetIntel. It will be available for lease in MAY16.
- 9V-SMB, SQ's second A359, is expected to be delivered in APR16.
- 9V-SWQ seems to be the next in line for the PY refit, but is still flying currently. We will find out in the next few days.
- There is some doubt whether 9V-SVG has been withdrawn from use, or is currently undergoing maintenance.
- 9V-SKB and 9V-SKC are currently being fitted with PY and are expected to leave the hangar soon. This will increase the number of refitted A380-800s with upper deck economy to 11, i.e. all A380s with upper deck economy will have PY.

The 200ERs still have plenty of work to do as so many A330s are leaving and the first couple of A350s will have no impact in total numbers due to network expansions - DUS & CBR-WLG will count for a plane each approx. and there is still talk of more services to Australia (BNE, SYD) and potential new destinations. With SVG out, the fleet tally was a plane away from dropping to double digits.

Does anyone know why one 772ER was out for so long? I'm hoping they've installed WiFi on the plane. It also doesn't make sense that SQ didn't go all out with refitting the 772s with WiFi and new entertainment systems, considering that they'll be sticking around for longer than some of the A330s.
