Decided we are not going to change our return flight to SQ2. Staying with SQ16 only.
Here's the story: So, me and my dad are leaving tonight (India time) from TRV to SIN, and then on to SQ16 SIN to ICN and onward to SFO. So, I was able to check in properly, but got a rotten seat on my flight back to SFO. However, when I tried to fill in my dad's details, they accepted it, but I could not proceed with the check in. It gave me some sort of error stating "We are unable to update your contact details" even after filling out all required information successfully, meaning I could not select seats for him on both the flights.
Could this why SQ websites have teething problems too? I don't like the new website. What I'm more worried about is not only checking in for my dad, but also if we're even going to get seats together for the SFO sector.
Something should be sorted out soon before my flight to SFO tomorrow at 9:25am.
