Am I right to say that in JCL, whether or not the meal service begins on trays (laying of cutlery, glasses, etc.) is solely dependent on aircraft type? I understand the FAs do not conduct the meal service with trays on all A380 and B77W operated routes. However, does the meal service on all other aircraft (New/Old Regional J or SpaceBeds) make use of trays regardless of the route and length of flight?
On routes that operate both the long-haul and regional configurations (e.g. PEK, PVG, SYD), can I assume that there is no difference in the meal service apart from the absence of trays on aircraft featuring the long-haul seats?
Thanks!
