UA952 or UA932

Dear all.....
On the way to FRA from SJU. I'll make a transit at IAD. Will arrive at IAD on UA700 from SJU at ETA 17.05 and then I have 2 options for connecting flight to FRA: UA952 (ETD 20.14, B763 with new F product) and UA932 (ETD 22.55, B772 with old F product) (have no gut to take a risk to take LH419 ETD 18.50 because of my passport status) As a person under NSEERS list, I must report personally to Immigration officer to report my departure, which unfortunately their office located at international arrival hall (unsecured area).
Never been to IAD before, so don't know the minimum time to clear this hassle.
So, which flight I must choose? Currently I'm booked on UA932. Need advice from UA expert here....
Btw, I'll travel in F....

Just my opinion. Regarding the product, there's nothing to say. The choice is obviously UA952 (btw, please be informed that last minute changes to acft rotation may occur so the new product is not guaranteed!).

From my very last experience on UA (transiting both in SFO And ORD, with immigration and custom to clear) I was extremely impressed both because the flight were perfectly on time or a little bit earlier and because the whole connection didn't tkae more than 45 minutes (from the disembarkation to the lounge for the departing flight).

I'm not expert about IAD (I don't like that airport!) but I'd say that being you on the same flight, with a regular connection and flying First, if for any reason you should be misconnected, UA will do everything to put you on the subsequent flight.

I'd go for 952.

Under normal circumstances, I'll go for UA952, even for LH419 that depart earlier.
But once again, as my passport is under NSEERS list, I must report my departure personally to immigration office that is at unsecured area. That mean I must leave the secured area, go to immigration office (dunno how long to get there), wait for my turn, get interviewed, get my passport stamped, get back to security check line, etc....
If in this process I have some time delayed, will UA take care of me to put me on the next flight (subject to seat availability) along with my baggages?

Once again, thanks for your suggestion Luke. Now I try to collect my courage to change my flight to UA952.
