I had the pleasure of trying this new CX JCL product earlier this week. I have to say it wasn't as bad as the photos made it look, but I wouldn't like to try and get much sleep in those seats.....

It's a pity considering the new long haul seats are so good

They are indeed. Their new J & F products are excellent. I've flown the new F a number of times in the last six months or so and also got to try the new long haul J on a recent HKG-SGN flight. Now that seat I wouldn't mind having to try and sleep in!.

The same products have been deployed across KA and i found myself on one of them (KA 897, Apr 28). Seat pitch and width aside, found it very hard to lounge, much less sleep as the seat reclines to very odd angles; uncomfortable to lounge and not flat to lie down in.
