EK: SIN-MEL , what kind of 77W

Who has experience with this flight recently?

What kind of business class do they have? Their website says it will have lie-flat. This is not their newest product, is it?

How will it compare with SQ's lie-flat regional?

no, its not the complete lie-flat but recliner. And its 2-2-2 in J. Still, lots of leg-room even for the window pax to get to the aisle even if aisle pax is in sleeping mode.

I flew SIN-MEL-SIN in J on EK several times and have no complaints. I think their hardware compares with SQ, with the ICE touchscreen more interesting but lesser variety than SQ's. Foodwise and service wise comparable too. Giving EK a leg up is the chauffeur service (in SIN and MEL) and - i know many SQTalkers will think I'm cheapo - EK's Amenity Kit which makes SQ's sockettes and eye-shade so dismal.

So it's not sliding to 170 degrees flat or so?
More like SQ's ancient recliners to CGK and SGN?

Flew EK once in J from SIN to MEL on 77W. It was a lie flat seat in 2-3-2 config.
