  • New VS Upper Class

VS have 'unveiled' their 'new' Upper Class...looks more like an update to me than something really new. Still way too coffin-like. Doesn't appeal to me at all, once on CX was enough.

    Here are the links:

I know they pioneered the fully flat beds in C, but this is ridiculous -- and the article speaks much about how this increases their revenue instead of makes the customer happy.

It will absolutely make Virgin Atlantic the best in class.

As far as 'limited data' goes, Virgin calls out the BlackBerry – which compresses its email into tiny packets – as an example of the type of device you should use rather than regular smartphones such as the iPhone and Android devices.
They're commenting on a product that is ancient and about to go under???

Virgin even says the Upper Class cabin itself will be quieter, thanks to the work of a 'whispering coach' (seriously, that's an actual job title!) who is teaching flight attendants how to keep the noise down in flight.
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sad that THIS is what I'm relegated to fly with my large stash of VS Miles (courtesy of Hyatt and Hertz).

I don't see any pictures with the TV screen 'popped out' so does that mean you have to sit an angle to see it? Shouldn't be, right?

I was wondering that, too. The lady staring at the screen in one of the pictures makes my neck hurt just looking at the picture.

Not only that, the screen on the left looks assymetric...
