So everyone here travels first / business class all the time?
Definitely not.
You'll find premium-class TRs to be very well represented because the experience tends to be something that people want to document and share. But SQTalkers who travel exclusively in F and J are a minority, I believe.

Oh OK. I certainly enjoy reading the premium class stories and seeing the pics that go with them.
After getting enough of NYC, it's time to depart this lovely city onwards to Miami....well, i did not realize that the day i booked my flight to Miami was on thanksgiving day - Nov 25th....it's was then the Macy's thanksgiving parade...which is the annual event for new yorkers...my flight to Miami today is at 12.40pm and i had booked the transfer to Newark at 8am where the airport shuttle comes every 1 hour...therefore, with the TSA checks, it would take you to the departure gate by an hour and a half to spare...
As for the thanksgiving parade, people all over states comes to NYC to catch a glimpse of this parade which last for 3 hours. You can see the crowd start flocking times square by overnight. The parade starts from W52nd St, taking it to central park and ends at union square where the Macy outlet is. Here are some photos taken on the day of the parade which was around 7am then...
And this is what Macy's look like this year...
Aren't they adorable..
With not much time left before the shuttle takes me to the airport, decided to walk back to my hotel to board the bus to the airport....I arrived the airport at 8.45am...there isn't any jams through Lincoln tunnel that morning...as soon as i got to the domestic terminal, went straight to continental's elite access check in counter...there is 2 options over the check in counter...one is self check in and the other is normal check in. For economy class passenger, you need you pay charges for your check in luggage..which was USD 25 per 20kg if i was not mistaken..
Here are some shots of the check in counter in Newark and it's surroundings..
Received my boarding pass in a swift as i did self check in and then onwards to the TSA check point...not many travelers today as the rush hour was actually the day before thanksgiving...
As i was walking towards the lounge, did some photo shooting along the way..
After walking about for half an hour, with an hour to spare, decided to move on to the lounge located in the middle of the terminal. It's the Continental admiral club...did not take too many photos on there...just the reception area...
With 30 mins to spare, i decided to move on the my departure gate which was 2 mins walk from where i was...few more shots before i reached the gate...
No delay for today...
As sonn as i reached the gate, there is already a line queueing with passengers with kids & infant, followed by first class, *G & economy class by rows...
This is how the cabin view and seats it looks like for a Continental 738..nice comfortable black leather seats with paying movies channels even you are in first class...unless you are traveling international. This concept of the pay movies is currently tested across all continental's domestic flight which proves to be a success...
The pay movie booklet...
Took us 15 mins to board everyone in today and today's load is 100%...perhaps it's miami...
Drinks were served and orders were taken for meals...hot meals were provided on board today with the flight time of 2h 20 mins...
Some photos of aircraft during our taxi to the runway..then new livery for United...
Baggage were out by the time we reached the belt...
In 20 mins, we r out of the terminal and on the way to the hotel...
In Miami, i had choosen to stay in The Setai, Miami...it is located in south beach which is apprx 25 mins from the airport....this hotel is managed by the GHM group which also manages The Chedi Bali & The Datai Langkawi....the hotel's concept is very balinese style and contemporary look which makes your stay very comfortable...
Check in was fast as i was the only pax checking in then which was around 3.45pm...
Here are some photos of the hotel...
Welcome drink which consist of cold ice lemongrass with a touch of pandan leaves flavour...pretty cool..
