You were right, Dent@SUB: this is turning out to a long TR. But I like it.

Are you sure still want more? I even still haven't finished with the MUC LH FCL section yet

It's more like a "fairy tales" for me. Coming from a country that pax's rights almost non exist (there are some government regulations, but very lowly enforced to the reality), saw this poster made me wish this not just a poster (I knew EU very serious about this pax's rights, but I don't know about the real practices of this rights, never had any experience with that yet).

          The inFamous LH Bathroom ...

Finished with my breakfast business and after took a little time for lounging, my bathroom was ready.

The huge bathroom itself similar with the one at FRA FCL/FCT.

Here some pictures of the bathroom:

For the amenities, MUC FCL use different brand than FRA FCL/FCT. In here they used Dr. Hauschka brand (never heard this brand before, but I thought it must be a famous brand in Germany)

            The Tub With Mood Lighting....

At first I didn't notice about the light knobs on the wall near the tub. But then I realized they were for the mood lighting on the tub!
Usually only found this mood lighting in the new style aircraft cabin on some airlines. Never had a thought to put a mood ambiance light in the bathroom.
            Sweet.....!!!!

            Natural light mood ambiance:

            Blue light mood ambiance:

            Red light mood ambiance:

What an experience with this "bath ritual" this time....

A little disappointment just about little yellow ducky fellows. They ran out of stock at that time. Hmmm.... this little yellow fellows must be very famous....

After this "sweet bath", I paid a visit to the computer room. Very nice arrangement, one person in one private cabin, completed with business equipment and computer.

But beware of the keyboard, it's not QWERTY, but QWERTZ....

You meant this key (the symbol with the Q key)??

Even after you found it, you still need scratching your head ( a lot) to figure it out how to display it on the monitor....

Can't imagine how the Cyrillic keyboard looks like.....

                      MUC airport advanture continues.....

This lounge didn't have tarmac's view. So after finished checking emails and FB (and SQT also), I went to the bar, asking for Mojito. But unfortunately they didn't have mint leaf at that time. So no Mojito for me. Luckily the had Kir Royale.
Finished with my drink and nothing more to do in the lounge, I decided to stroll around the airport.

After collected my passport back, I went out. The exit door were on the international departure floor this time, near gate H22

There was a senator / business lounge nearby...

Here some shoots of the H area:

                      Nice facility: "paid shiatsu chair":

This "purple tail" was on the way to home, a very long way....

LH based quite a bunch of A346 here in MUC, spotted them along with my A343 ride to NRT:

                        Bound for NRT....

                        LH714
                        MUC-NRT
                        Class: F
                        Seat: 1A
                        Load: 8/8
                        ETD: 1545
                        ETA: 1030+1
                        ATD: ontime
                        ATA: 40 minutes ahead
                        Aircraft: A340-300

It was gonna be a choking full flight. While waited around the gate, that was an announcement looking for volunteer to be "bumped off" (with compensation of course).

                        The gate area:

                        My ride to Narita:

Soon boarding was commenced in the usual sequence.

First to be onboard, I took opportunity to took some cabin shoots:

LH always mark their cabin classes:

After I settled down on my seat, a nice FA lady came offering me a drink.
I asked her for a glass of sparkling water. And she came back with my water and macadamia nuts. Dunno what brand of this sparkling water was.

Soon we were leaving the gate, and taxiing for runway.

This what I spotted on the way to the holding area:

The "hairdryers" roared, and soon we were on our speed to take off. It took some time to lift up with this "hairdryers"...

Good bye Munich, good bye Germany..... Auf wiedersehen.....

                        Next: the festive moment....

                          A Moment of Feast...

Once we were on the cruising altitude, chief purser approached me with today's menu. She introduced herself personally and her staffs who were in charge in F cabin.

I almost can't recall, when the last time the purple kabaya/tie introduce her/himself to me during my F ride with SQ. The last I could remember it was last year, and only once, on my NRT-SIN in R on last Sept. From my SIN-FRA on March: none, SIN-SYD-SIN this January, March and August: none. only the LSS/LS who serve me introduced her/himself to me.
But as long as I can recall, every time I took LH's F, the chief purser always introduced her/himself to me.

And on this trip, I had two flights, which were not SQ, whose pursers came me to introduce her/himself personally, TG and LH. Nice touch....!

So, back to the LH flight...

The purser handed me the menu, and we have a little chat about the menu. Because it was on the Oktoberfest season, they have special menu to celebrate that.

Here some shoots of the lunch menu:

                          And here their wine list:

After that, the nice female FA came to distribute PJ's, slipper and amenities kit.
She gave me L size for the PJ's, and asked me if that size suit me?
I told her that L size would be fine for me, but I wanted the S size, it was for a gift. She told me: "Don't worry Sir, I will bring another one for you. You can have the L size for yourself, Sir"

                          Sweet!!!.....

Personally, I prefer LH's Van Lack PJ's than SQ's Givenchy PJ's. But it was a matter of personal taste.

                            The famous SQFG TM shoot:

The "tiny" LH's F IFE monitor:

Soon the nice FA brought me a glass of riesling and water.

                            and the amuse-bouche :

And then she took my order for the lunch.

I saw a little differentiation on the hors d’œuvres menu. Usually LH had 4-5 options of hors d’œuvres including caviar (and we can have them all), but this time only 3 options including caviar.

As a caviar lover, but also a Japanese food lover, I was in dilemma. Ordered western food which was including caviar or had the Japanese food but without caviar option....

I asked the FA :"is that possible to have the hors d’œuvre and caviar with the Japanese meal?"
She said: "of course you can, Sir!"

                            Sweet!!!

So here the classic table set up from LH, with their rose signature:

                            And here my appetizers:

The presentation also different from the usual LH stacked tray signature.
This picture was taken on my FRA-BOS flight on March:

Never had any Japanese food on any western airlines, I was eager about their presentation on this delicate menu.
And here some shoots of them:

                            The first set:

                            The second set:

Look at the small brown package on the upper left corner.
At the first time I thought it was the dessert. And I kept it for the last. Safe the best for last.

I even asked for a dessert spoon to the passing FA.

And woolaaa.... when I opened it, it was RICE!!!... No wondered I couldn't find any rice on my food. I thought it was LH version of Japanese food, served without rice... Silly me...!

And then came the real desserts. I had the small Japanese dessert, sliced fruits and even the cheese....

Done with the nice lunch (or dinner??), it was time to check the lavatories.
LH stocked them with L'Occitane Shea Butter face cream in the small tube, which was very handy. And also Shea Butter cleansing pad. Nice products.

But no toothbrush like in the SQ F toilets.
Must used the one from the amenities bag.
Didn't want to remove something from the amenities kit bag, I used my spare SQ one...

LH F seat indeed old, but it also very comfortable to sleep on. Especially on A340 or A330 with 1-2-1 lay out.

The duvet came from Joop! brand, and quite comfortable.

I managed to get almost 5 hours sleep.

I woke up 2 hours before landing. The nice lady FA approached me to hand me the breakfast menu, and offered me some drink to take.
I thanked her, but I still had my "Elizabethen" bottled water with me.

After finish my "morning ritual", I came back to my seat. And the nice FA approached me again to take my order for breakfast.
I asked her for Japanese Breakfast.

And here some shoots of the food:

Learned from my lunch mistake, now I knew where to find the rice...

Before we descended, the chief purser came again to thanks me flying with them. And handed me some gifts from LH, the Oktoberfest theme's small beer glass and decorative golf balls.
                              Very nice touch!
Last time I took LH F, I got a box of chocolates from them.

We landed 40 minutes ahead schedule time.

Immigration was a breeze, and my bag already on the belt when I reached there.

                              Welcome to Tokyo.... Kon-nichiwa Tokyo...
