Since it was an inaugural flight, as usual, the departure time is slightly off and we were on air at 10.00am - 15 mins late from the original time..take off was smooth and powerfull as usual..

The view of singapore harbour after we took off...

We took the left turn toward the north east which you can see changi on the left hand

SQ PAX pleasuring himself with a Dom..

Seat belt sign went off 5 mins after we took off - and it was time to do a little discovery yet again...

Went to the suite toilet as the first stop...

      The aminities compartment

Refreshment were served as soon as the seat belt sign were off - while we were discovering this big bird...

Bose headset, socks and slip ons were given...

And as the crew prepare for the meals...here is the set up

        Fruits were served...

I've skipped the soup and salads...

The main course...forgotten what is was...some pancakes serve with carviar & vanilla sauce

After a short while, we had the a photo session with LSS Carmen..

        How about one more shot?

A shot from above.. with a signage entrance to the suite

No J class photos as the LS were busy serving the pax up there...went straight to the Y class section where we met Stephen - South African guy who is actually working in HKG - took leave to be on this flight

View from Y class upper deck

After a short trip around the big bird, we went down and saw the captain pilot (Mr. Gerald Yeap - VP of the pilot association) and had a photo with him

After talking with Mr. Yeap, we went to "disturb" the LS by asking her to convert our seat to bed

            LionCity having a wonderful sleep?

            And next...the double bed

Our thanks goes out to LS Carmen & Martin

And...this is how it looks like....well done SQ!!

              SQ PAX
having a feel on the bed...

LionCity & SQ 0303 didn't miss it as well...

SQ 0303 came by to visit us from Y..

And came the senior first officer....and a shot with him..

Chatted with him for a while till he excuses himself as we were approaching HKIA in 30 mins time - in which he needs to be preparing for decent

SQ 0303 having a feel on the suite seat...look how comfortable he is..

A few more shots of the suite before we land...

                Hitch starring Will Smith...my fav

                View from 3A window...

                The powerful PW engine

Photos on our decent to HKIA...pretty cloudy...landing on runway L25 which is on the left hand of HKIA passing through Hong Kong island & Kowloon side

We were parked at gate 60 where the "party" was held (i heard that the HKG celebration is much better) with media and newscaster surrouding the gate..while 856 was heading towards the gate, manage to see the ground workers taking photos and videos through their mobile phones and also curious on lookers as well spotted...

And last but not least...my baggage tag with the sign "Suites"....

Coming up next....Hkg & Macau..which includes MGM Grand AND J class on SQ 861 which i will be in for tomorrow's flight...

That is a great set of pictures! Hope to do my first 'official' inaugural one day...

They should have given a gift away, even ex-SIN as on other occasions, sorry to hear they didn't this time. Even for Suites! (you'd think they would)

And I think LionCity's identity is well and truly revealed now...

The aerobridge too a long time to latch on due to the "kiasu-ness" of the ground handling staff. May as well as it cost R Pax USD 7.71 per minute. The twenty mintues have rewarded us another provided a "welcome" benefit.

Understand that the crew on the inaugural SQ 856 have higher past performance to be selected for this flight. I was definitely not disappointed with the service. They have a very sensible and down to earth IFS Mr. Chua Chong Jin. We liked him and seems a very sincere guy whether in or out of the uniform. Found out that he also does training of cabin crew too.

The CS, Rashid (which KevSQ forgot the name!) was also very on the ball. LS Martin Lim, LSS Sandra Foo and LSS Chang Tzer Wei have been on top of their game. Kudos to the team.
