We can plan for another inaugural flight to MEL. Let us be prepared to fly to MEL on 29 Sep and rope in SQ_0303 and SQ Pax or any others. The only thing is that 29th Sep is on Tuesday.

Sorry for the delay as my hard disk was encountering problems and just managed to fix it and uploaded my photos into photobucket...

          Let's continue...

After arrival from HKIA, went straight to the hotel limo which brought me to Langham Place and check at the 1865 check in counter at the lobby. Since i have already post the report and photos on my previous TR, this time around would only be some shots which includes the hotel entrance view from the shopping mall entrance (Langham Place is connected to the Langham Place shopping mall)

Here is some of the shots of the hotel entrance

And the legendary Langham Place sclupture (known as the ancient chinese soldier)

          The hotel lift level description

          Level 36-39
          Club Langham

          Level 40
          Chuan Residence

          Level 41
The famous and pricey Chuan Spa

          Level 42
Star Room (Function room which caters for wedding function as the view is awesome from the 42nd floor which overlooks the whole HKG island)

And some photos on my room level - 31

The next day, was preparing my trip to Macau which includes a night stay in MGM Grand, seafood, ferry ride...

Ticket price for the turbojet premium class was HKD 312 one way which the timing was not really to my liking as per compared with the usual ones. The journey from HKG to Macau is 50 mins..Not too bad for a journey with the premium class...

The seats with light biege leather seats...

The LCD which was showing Macau places the whole journey

Food was serve after the ferry begins it's journey...with orange juice, choices of pastaries and fruits..

            The on board magazine...Horizon

After the meal, i took a short nap and before i realise it, we were already in Macau...cleared the immigration in 20 mins as the queue was rather long that day...as soon as i walked out the immigration, there were so many hotel representative awaiting at the arrival hall with signeage which will guide you to the hotel shuttle buses...the journey from the ferry terminal to the hotel took us 10 mins

The lobby of MGM Grand - pretty impressive

The hotel card...quite a decent colour as a hotel card holder...

Next, after a few shots of the lobby, i went straight for check in and was told that my preffered room was not available at that particular time as i reached Macau at 11am...and check in time was supposed to be 3pm

The reception girl told me that they have double queen bed on a smoking floor...but i have requested non smoking floor with king size bed...was thinking with my luggage and my notebook, i was not really comfortable placing it at the conciege counter till i get my desired room..and went on to accept the room offer...which is the smoking floor twin queen size bed

Well, it turned out not that bad...the smoke smell in the room i should say was quite ok to cope with

Here is the walk way to the rooms...

              My room level - 9

              View from my room...Wynn

              My room...pretty pleasant room

                The shower room

                Pretty cool bath tub

                The amnities

Kindda of like the design of the water bottle..

                The 46" LCD...

Took more snapshots of the view from my room...it's actually facing the ocean...

Then went to the concourse level whereby you can see the great artwork of more on a victorian design which connects to the casino...

And a shot of the hotels surroundings once again...the one with the unique design is Grand Lisboa

Next, was feeling hungry and decided to take a cab to a nearby town called Colonae (hope i spelled it correctly)

It's a suburb village where you can find the famouse portugese egg tart and the local seafood

The Lord Stow portugese egg tart shop

Didn't manage to finished it all...was to greedy to get half a dozen of them

After having a slice of it, i proceed walking to the seafood village and ordered some seafood

Baby mussels steam with pepper gravy

Orded a set of garlic bread to go with..

Pork chop with fries and tomato sauce...

Last but not least, my fav drink in HKG...cream soda

Enough with Venetian, decided to get back to MGM as it was already almost late evening...

On the way back in the cab, managed to capture the Macau tower...

                        My room door...

The night view of the concourse level which i have taken earlier..

Having snapping all the time, well, was getting hungry yet again

Decided to try the buffet in MGM (Rossio) - an open concept kitchen buffet style where you can see the chef at work...some sort like Hell's Kitchen

After dinner, after stuffing myself with all the food (feel like vommiting then) , went for a stroll and took the exterior of the hotel for the night view

                          The legendary MGM lion..

After done with, decided to call it a night...while i was walking back the elevator, saw a warning sign...Typhoon level 1! I was thinking Gosh, am i able to go back tomorrow to HKG?

Next day, took the 11am ferry back to HKG...some snap shots while i was in the shuttle bus which transfered me to the ferry terminal
