What are your thoughts on seat comfort compared to SQ?

Even the seat was an angle lie-flat bed, it was quite comfy. I managed to sleep about 5 hours.

I woke up with a hungry stomach, so I ordered for some "midnight snack"...

    Another sleep after "midnight snack"...

Two hours before touch down, breakfast were served. Once again I opted japanese meal, wich turn into another delicious feast for me...

We arrived at NRT ontime. Even the line at the Imigration quite long, we were clear not more than 20 minutes. Thanks to Japanese efficiency!

Overall, NH crew were on par with SQ's.
But on the food, I like NH J food more than SQ J food!

After reached cruising altitude, hot towel was offered. And then FA came with a tray full of glasses. There was two kind of drink on that tray, champer and green tea! hmmm... this kind of style made me remember with Y style service...
Of course we can order other drink if we want...

    My champer.....

About 1 hour after took off, the crew begun lunch service.

    Peek to the galley...

    The Autumn menu....

We were asked for pre lunch drink, which I asked for Choya Umeshu (japanesse plum wine) which was very nice!

And then came the canapee which were very delicious.....

For lunch, I opted the Japanesse meal, the Kaiseki, which were very delicious... on par with SQ F class Kyo Kaiseki

    First tray, cold dishes...

    Second tray, hot dishes...

And then came the dessert.... Ice Cream Sundae.... yummy!!!

    After meal drink.....

Boarding was on time and in the ussual sequance.

I was sitting at 6A in the 2nd section of J class. It was bulkhead seat, and the seat next to me was empty!

    My seat.....

    The seat console panel.....

The AVoD IFE monitor..... They have a channel for flight camera....

We push back on time. But there was no pre take off drink...

    View from my window....

    ORD-NRT with NH in J

This is another part of my "Hari Raya" holiday trip...

    NH11
    Date: 01OCT'08
    Sector: ORD-NRT
    ETD: 1050
    ETA: 1345+1
    Class: J
    Seat: 06A
    Aircraft: B77W

After 1 night overnight transit from SJU at Four Points By Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport, it was time to head back to ORD for my next flight to NRT.
Four Points provides free shuttle service to airport in 20 minutes time interval.
I left hotel around 0715 am, because I need to settled some imigration procedures.
While almost all international flights departed from T5, UA, LH and NH using T1 for their departure.
When I arrived at ORD T1, NH check in counter still not opened yet. But not for long, just about 15 minutes, I have checked in my flight.
    Now came the hassle thing...
As a person who's in the list of US special registrant program, I must report in person to the imigration officer every time I left USA.
And at ORD, they were at T5.
After I got my BP, I bring it along with my I96 form to T5. There was a sophisticated shuttle train between terminals and parking park. It's very convinience to use them to reach T5 and back.
After report and got interviewed and got a departed stamp at my passport and I96 form, I headed back to T1 to give back my I96 form to NH check in agent. What a hassle and time consumed!

After the typical USA security check point, I headed to UA Red Carpet Lounge. NH using UA Red Carpet Lounge for their J pax.

After gave my lounge invitation to the lounge dragon, she gave me 2 drink voucher for alcoholic drink!!! It meant that I only allowed to have 2 glasses of free alcoholic drink!

The lounge it self spacious and quite crowded at that time....

There's a nice tarmac view from the lounge...

What were they doing down there???
