Trip To Saigon From VN

This is my first post ever since joining SQ talk. Coming from an average family, i do not have much opportunity to travel. This is one of the rare chances i had to go Vietnam and also first time trying the aircraft with the nice navy blue!

Seat No: 15C, 1st EMEX row seat

After settling down in the aircraft, i began to take pictures.



Seems the FA not happy i took pics of the cabin.. Oh Well

Shortly after takeoff as the plane was still ascending to flight level, meal service had already started due to short journey . It was considered a light snack.

Had 2 options available.



Starter (TOp left hand corner), salad.
Dessert: Fruits (bottom left hand corner)
Main Course: Noodle with fried fish




Main Course: Pork with fried rice




Beverage service started after food was served due to short journey time.

Off we go to the city of Vung Tau, a 4 hour bus ride or 1 hr 30 minutes by speed boat

Brings back memories, welcome to SQTalk, augmentin8! Just went to Vung Tau a few months ago myself, but didn't climb the Jesus statue (saw it, though).

3 hours by private car, the bus drivers are crazyyyy! The speedboat is actually a hydrofoil. Will post a pic if I can find it somewhere later on...

After the stay in Vietnam, it was time to say bye bye

Nice and clean layout similar to HKIA. Check in was smooth, nothing special while nothing to fault too.





This is the Tan Son Nhat Airport staff canteen a friend of mine brought me too. It sellf food at a way cheaper price (and also in Dong!) rather than USD in the transit.

Supposed to choose this beef with rice or another dish (sweet potato) which no one ordered.

Apologise for the blur shot. But I'm actually amazed at the detail they put in to market their airline brand and also quality of condiments used

Totally different from the cheapo ones served on some premier airlines.
