Greetings from the fantastic, fabulous, extraordinary, superlative-filled OSLO DO!
The weather here is lovelyyyy! It's really held up so well so far, beautiful sunny days, BLUE skies, temperature that doesn't freeze you (even at night), and clean air.
Norwegians seem to be an all-round friendly bunch of people, and I must say it was a pity that SQfg fell sick.
I'm impressed by how quickly you learned how to find your way around in the city and are looking forward to more reports from you :-)
Here are some highlights from our time together:
At The New Opera House
At Vigeland Sculpture Park by the Angry Boy
Eager to try some Norwegian speciality: "Pølse i Lompe"

Sounds like a great DO! Pity it didn't coincide with the Oslo World Music Festival http://www.rikskonsertene.no/osloworldmusicfestival , otherwise I would've definitely stopped by.Le jour de Saint Eugène, en traversant la Calle Mayor...

Try this for traditional: http://www.sqtalk.com/forum/showpost...7&postcount=57
and
Try this for a more seafood-oriented bent: http://www.sqtalk.com/forum/showpost...8&postcount=75
Personally, I enjoyed the D/S Louise more, but it's not so traditional Norwegian as the Rathaus
